Concerning the disposition of weapons and wishing to know whether the Sheriff’s Department, Clerk of Court and County Administrator can enter into an agreement whereby the Sheriff’s Department sells these weapons to a retail gun dealer with the proceeds being used to purchase equipment and supplies for the Sheriff’s Department.
