Concerning a parent’s complaint that their child, a middle school student in Lexington County, has been viewing (at school) “R” rated movies that contain sexually explicit scenes, and inquiring if the law pertaining to content harmful to minors “is applied differently within the confines of the public school vs. a theatre.” The opinion also addresses whether there is a weakness which needs to be changed in the “Harmful to Minors” section of the law.
