Concerning whether or not the Freedom of Information Act applies to a search committee of a state university, which committee is searching for or interviewing candidates to fill a “public figure” type office. The opinion also addresses whether the Freedom of Information Act can be properly construed to allow recessing and reconvening of executive sessions between cities or across the continent without giving additional notice.
