Concerning whether the decision of the United States Supreme Court in United States Department of Justice v. Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, 489 U. S. __, 109 S. Ct. __, 103 L. Ed. 2d 774 (1989), would be applicable to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) as a central records repository and how the decision might affect certain record screenings an dissemination of conviction data.
