Concerning the “Preservation of Evidence Act” and the length of time the evidence must be preserved pursuant to a Conviction by Plea.” Specifically, asking whether, “[u]nder subsection (C) of Section 17-28-328, can we – the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office – dispose of the Evidence without court order after the seven years have expired?”
