Concerning several sections of the South Carolina Charter Schools Act of 1996, as recently amended, which you authored,  “are being seriously misinterpreted” in such a manner that “will drastically slow down the entire application process for new charter schools in our state, in complete contravention of the spirit and intent of our amendments.”
