South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force

Abby Zilch

Abby Zilch is the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Human Trafficking Task Force Program Assistant at the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General. This role supports the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force through a focus on communication related responsibilities. Abby will be regularly updating the Task Force’s social media sites, drafting newsletters, producing the new podcast, and updating the website. Additionally, Abby will work on video production to compliment opportunities to share information with members of the Task Force as well as community members. She will work closely with the Director of the State Task Force, the Graphic Designer, and Human Trafficking Program Coordinators to achieve many of the communication goals.   

Abby graduated in May of 2022 from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a focus in Political Science. Throughout her four years at USC, she paged at the South Carolina State House for the Ways and Means Committee and spent one month completing a summer internship in Washington, D.C. In addition, Abby was the student government public relations point person. During her last semester of college, she completed an internship at the South Carolina Attorney General's Office with the Constituent Services section.
