Jennequia “Nikki” Brown is a dedicated servant leader who has worked for the last eight years serving special populations of South Carolina. Nikki has directly worked as a service provider for individuals across the lifespan from geriatric mental health to children and youth who have been abused and neglected.
In her last assignment, Nikki served at the South Carolina Department of Social Services, first as an intensive foster care case manager working with youth who have with special needs. She then worked as a specialized case manager for youth who experienced Child Trafficking in the Low Country of South Carolina. Lastly, Nikki served as a Child Trafficking Program Coordinator providing leadership, technical assistance, and training to frontline staff, stakeholders, and community organizations surrounding the response to Child Trafficking.
She is a lover of gardening, a creative writer and spoken word artist, and enjoys crafting and many other mindfulness activities. She spends most of her time at home as a new mom to her two-year-old and her four-month-old, her dog Applejack, cat, Toni and her husband, David.
Nikki joins the South Carolina office of the Attorney General as a Human Trafficking Program Coordinator overseeing efforts in the Pee Dee area of the state. She is eager to continue her work serving victims of human trafficking and further developing the infrastructure to respond to the critical needs of these individuals.
