Melanie Williams, Training and Outreach Program Assistant 

Melanie serves as a member of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Human Trafficking team by assisting the team with coordination of professional trainings, presentations and special events. She supports the efforts of the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force in public awareness and outreach.  She also assists with identifying topics and presenters for specialized trainings, securing venues, and promoting such initiatives.  She also assists in the coordination of the prevention education initiative across South Carolina through outreach and organizational support.  Melanie is a graduate of Liberty University where she earned a degree in Psychology.  Prior to coming to the VAWA/Human Trafficking area, she spent three years with the agency in the civil litigation area.  Melanie is excited for her new role and hopes to enhance the value of such a great team.
