SC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force

Law Enforcement

Law Enforcement

The ICAC Task Force in South Carolina is based out of the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office in Columbia, SC. We are currently partnered with over 100 law enforcement agencies in South Carolina who share our vision of keeping our children safe online.

The Role of the ICAC Task Force

Investigating child exploitation or other crimes involving a computer can present interesting obstacles to law enforcement. The S.C. ICAC Task Force is here to help. We have task force members located throughout the state and experienced Task Force investigators located within the Attorney General’s Office.

Request a Presentation

In addition to our focus on investigations, the South Carolina Task Force offers education and prevention resources to thousands of S.C. law enforcement, teachers, parents and students. Our law enforcement training is focused on members of the ICAC Task Force, but our Task Force frequently facilitates Internet Safety presentations throughout the state to students, parents, and professionals from all career fields.

If you are interested in having someone present an Internet Safety presentation to your group or organization, please visit the Presentation Request page for more information. Be sure to include your name, organization name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Someone from the Task Force will get in touch with you as quickly as possible.

If you are a Law Enforcement Officer and you are looking for a pre-made presentation to use to present to your community, please visit NetSmartz.org and see if one of their existing presentations can fit your needs. If you don’t find what you need please feel free to contact our Program Manager, Stephanie Hite, at stephaniehite@scag.gov.
