(COLUMBIA, S.C.) –South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson made the following statement regarding the introduction of H.4756 in the South Carolina legislature.
“This is not about discrimination. This is a public safety issue and a constitutional right to privacy issue."
"As Attorney General, I have fought to protect previous provisos on this matter in multiple courts. And as a father of a teenage daughter, I will always work to defend the rights of women and girls across our state to feel safe in their dedicated private spaces."
