Charleston P.D. Arrests Clemson Man for Child Pornography

Columbia- Attorney General Alan Wilson announced today that Joshua Heyward Hughes Rumph, 21, of 213 Knollwood Drive, in Clemson, South Carolina was arrested on May 2, 2011, by the Charleston Police Department on child pornography charges.

The Charleston Police Department is a member of the Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Rumph is charged with one (1) count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (§16-15-405), 2nd Degree, a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment.

A booking photo is available through the Charleston County Detention Center where Rumph was booked.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.

Wilson stressed that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
