Basic Core Trainings
To complete your VSP certification, all new Basic VSPs must complete a 15-hour Basic Core training within their first year of employment.
Basic Core trainings are hosted all year long across the state by different organizations.
Current and upcoming Basic Core training opportunities will be listed below.
Please watch this space as more trainings will be listed here as information becomes available.
You must already have a VSP number to register for a Basic Core training. To apply for a VSP number, click here.
Please note, VSPs who are employed with a children's advocacy center or a solicitor's office will receive their Basic Core training through an internal training process. If you are a VSP who specializes in human trafficking, your Basic Core training will be arranged by the SC Human Trafficking Taskforce.
