On whether it is unlawful in South Carolina for a parent to bargain away for monetary consideration the custody of his or her child to a stranger, thereby attempting to relieve himself or herself from all parental obligations and place that obligation upon another and whether such conduct is violative of any of the criminal laws of this State.
