South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson joined lawmakers in 2012 in urging the passage of a human trafficking bill. It criminalizes sex trafficking, gives prosecutors the power to seize assets and property of convicted traffickers, and provides much-needed support to victims, who often suffer in silence. This legislation created a task force, chaired by the Attorney General’s Office, which takes an aggressive stance against curbing human trafficking in our state. Listed below are the state and regional task force & sub-committee members along with their contact information.
