South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force

Task Force Members

The South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force is composed of mandated, appointed, and invited members. Additionally, Task Force members are recognized formally when they have a completed Memorandum of Understanding. We welcome participation from others in the community who wish to contribute toward anti-human trafficking efforts, but not enter into a formal agreement with the Task Force.

The South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force

The South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force is composed of mandated, appointed, and invited members. The following are mandated members of the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force:

  • South Carolina Office of the Attorney General - Chair
  • The Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation
  • The South Carolina Police Chiefs Association
  • The South Carolina Sheriffs’ Association
  • The State Law Enforcement Division
  • The Department of Health and Environmental Control Board
  • The State Office of Victim Assistance
  • The South Carolina Commission on Prosecution Coordination
  • The Department of Social Services
  • The Office of the Governor
  • The Department of Employment and Workforce

Appointed Non-Governmental Organizations include:

  • South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
  • South Carolina Victim Assistance Network

Other Task Force Members include:

Lastly, an invitation of membership is also extended to representatives of the United States Department of Labor, the Office of the United States Attorney, and federal law enforcement agencies within the State including the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement office.
